How does this rectangular prism calculator work?

Depending on the figures to be solved for, this rectangular prism calculator uses the formulas explained here:
■ If you choose to calculate the volume (V), area (A) and diagonal (d) of a rectangular prism you have to provide its length (l), width (w) and height (h):
Volume (V) = l*w*h
Area (A) = 2(l*w + l*h + w*h)
Diagonal (d)= √(l2 + w2 + h2)
■ In case you want to compute the height (h), diagonal (d) and volume (V) you have to know the length (l), width (w) and area (A):
Height (h) = (S – 2*l*w) / (2*l + 2*w)
Volume (V) = l*w*h
Diagonal (d) = √(l2 + w2 + h2)
■ In case you try to solve for the height (h), area (A) and volume (V) you have to input length (l), width (w) and diagonal (d):

Prism 8 3 1 Equals Inches

Height (h) = √(d2 - l2 - w2)
Volume (V) = l*w*h
Area (A) = 2(l*w + l*h + w*h) Backgrounds 7 4k.
■ If you choose to find the diagonal (d), height (h) and area (A) then you have to give the length (l), width (w) and the volume (V) of the prism:
Height (h) = V / l*w
Area (A) = 2(l*w + l*h + w*h)
Diagonal (d) = √(l2 + w2 + h2)
